What the FARC is Chavez talking about?

As the old saying goes, once a tyrant always a tyrant, Chavez is acting in his usual idiotic ways. In a story recently , the tyrant dictator of Venezuela accused Obama of having Bush's stench. Looks like Obama's suggestion of Chavez supporting FARC , rubbed the plump tyrant the wrong way. Yes I realize it's not a real saying, but it should be! This story is interesting for both political ideologies . Liberals will probably become offended that their messiah got compared to Bush, I doubt they can think of any worse analogy. Conservatives might breathe a slight sigh of relief. My relief stems from the fact that if Chavez cannot control his giant cesspool of a mouth and sufficiently angers the incoming administration then he will continue being marginalized just like he was during the Bush administration. See, my biggest fear with Obama is his relaxed stance on foreign policy. With the global economy in a virtual free fall, tensions will inevitably rise. Beyond Russi...

In the media

Participation in political matters outside of this blog. Cape Cod Online... An article write up of a brunch I attended after the defeat of Question 1. Little excerpt. One of the most effective pieces of tax advocacy this year was entirely volunteer. Arkady Kamenetsky made a YouTube video, independent of CLT or Carla Howell's Committee for Small Government, just sitting at his computer and explaining why Question One was important to him as a young citizen of the commonwealth and a committed believer in better government, which isn't more expensive and intrusive government. So Dan Page, old school door-to-door campaigner, meet Arkady Kamenetsky, Net warrior and libertarian activist. The old dogs like Dan have a few tricks to pass on, and the new watchdogs like Arkady can expand them to alert the 70 Percent as to when their interests are threatened. Patriot Room... Clyde and Bill over at Patriot Room invited me for their weekly special to discuss the miss...

Create your own Obama speech

The good folks at www.patriotroom.com found a fun little toy. An Obama speech generator ! Try it out. Here is mine,: "My fellow Americans, today is a historical day. You have shown the world that "hope" is not just another word for "hope", and that "change" is not only something we can believe in again, but something we can actually change. Today we celebrate, but let there be no mistake – America faces exciting and thrilling challenges like never before. Our economy is liberal. Americans can barely afford their mortgages, let alone have enough money left over for workers. Our healthcare system is compassionate. If your ass is sick and you don't have insurance, you might as well call a plumber. And America's image overseas is tarnished like a wallet dental floss. But liberating together we can right this ship, and set a course for Pakistan. Finally, I must thank my scary family, my boring campaign volunteers, but most of all, I want to thank ...

About Right Condition

Image
General Overview Right Condition is a right of center political blog, a progression of my previous blog (Indy Mind), but with a more professional appeal. This blog will focus on more libertarian perspectives as I am influenced by Goldwater Republicanism, Austrian school of Economics and the Reagan conservative movement although at the most basic level I am a student and admirer of the Jeffersonian Democracy. In modern day politics this kind of view puts me into a minority and therefore this blog will provide you a unique perspective. If you are so inclined, this blog can be best described as fiscally conservative and socially liberal due to my libertarian/conservative ideals. More specifically the right ideals. About the Author My name is Arkady (pronounced r-k-d) and I originally hail from the Soviet Union. My parents escaped communism in 1988 and we firmly reject all federal intrusion (and a lot of state) into our lives. While I am an engineer by trade I take politics very ...

Israel calls cease-fire, Hamas vows to keep fighting

As you have may have heard this Saturday, Israel politicians approved a cease-fire stating that accomplishments have been made. I wrote previously in what was the point of the fighting if eventually Israel would simply bow to international pressures and bow they did. You see, it is estimated that there are roughly 20,000 Hamas militants in Gaza and the latest death tolls suggest that roughly 500-600 have been killed. I am not a math whiz , but that still leaves a lot of Islamic fundamentalist J ihadists roaming around. What did Israel do in the past three weeks? Took out leadership and high command Bombed some tunnels and halted shipments Destroyed rocket launchers and crippled infrastructure. That would to be expected of course, its not reasonable to expect the IDF to kill thousands of Hamas militants - but it begs the question as to what is next!? As of now, Israel makes no plan to withdraw, which of course is the ultimate irony because Hamas justified rocket fire due to occup...

What does a hungry Hawaiian muslim say to a foodstand?

A little joke I made up today. Question: What does a hungry Hawaiian muslim say to a foodstand? Answer: Aloha Snackbar! You heard it here first :) Would be cool to get my own joke back in some random chain letter in a year. Wishful thinking, but at least I am amusing myself.

Ron Paul, the father of modern day conspiracy theorists?

Ron Paul got up in front of Congress and very simply in about two sentences, stated that Israel created Hamas . (Video below) The problem of course is that as a politician he created himself some wiggle room in case he is ever confronted, after all he could spin this in a multitude of ways. He could easily say "Israel never stopped Hamas from forming, therefore they helped create them". Whatever, not the point. What Ron Paul did however is set off a virtual firestorm among his constituency and much more importantly, among the anti-Israeli crowd as if they need any additional encouragement. Just perusing the YouTube videos alone, will give you an indication of how passionate and emboldened his supporters are upon hearing this. They praise him for being a lone voice of reason, a hero, etc. The truth is that Ron Paul is either purposely spreading vague misinformation or somehow - I have a hard time believing this - truly believes this garbage. For now we have the effect ...
