There have been credible speculations that either Michael Steele or Newt Gingrich are interested in the RNC chair. It is important at this juncture to have a vivacious leader full of ideas to lead the torn Republican party. My idealistic vision would be of a Republican party that appeals to conservatives and libertarians and not the antiquated fat cats inside the beltway. Republicans like John McCain do not win elections because they do not inspire or invigorate Americans. People who perpetuate the same corruption, government spending, government intervention and regulation are no different than the liberals that threaten this country. There needs to be a set of agendas that people can get excited about! So while the prospects of a legitimate third party are still bleak, we have to rely on the GOP to rebuild and include people that want basic things from our government. 1) Make it smaller 2) Less intervention 3) Cut spending by reducing departments, cabinents, etc that lead to

This is from Fox News and I am absolutely delighed to read it. A congressman from Georgia, by the name of Paul Broun has said what we on the blogosphere have been saying for a long time. We are disturbed by the combination of gun bans and a civilian force, we find it to be reminiscent of Stalin or Hitler. Throw in a cult of personality and you got the perfect combination.
