Congratulations Michael Steele - RNC chair.

If you recall, doubt that you do, I put forth my support for Michael Steele the second I learned of his interest in running for RNC chair. I believe, although it is difficult to prove, that Duncan screwed the pooch and under his watch the GOP lost tremendous ground. Therefore it was imperative for the GOP to acquire new leadership and this was done today. Although Steele is dubbed centrist (perhaps incorrectly), he is for the most part a very approachable conservative man. His is eloquent, genuine and extremely personable. His task right now is to mobilize the Republican base and in my opinion, take over lost ground. States that traditionally voted red like North Carolina and Virginia should NOT be swing states. I am not an expert in the exact responsibilities of what the party chairman has to do, but Dean despite his soprano prowess got a lot of credit for what the Democrats have accomplished . Personally I think that the general discontent with Bush's policies was the biggest bo

Middle class taskforce announced.

President Zero and Joe Biden unveiled today a middle-class task force , because gosh darn it, a strong middle-class is a strong America. Where do they come up with this crap? I am thinking the people that employ the middle-class is a strong America, but perhaps I am old fashioned like that. Due to the overwhelming transparency from Zero's administration, a website has been created to provide political mumbo- jumbo and rhetoric designed to give you the fuzzies . So, let's check out the mission statement and see what is in store for us. First, introduction. "The Task Force is a major initiative targeted at raising the living standards of middle-class, working families in America." Since middle-class is apparently any working family, due to a lack of any other explanation, I am excited. I am middle class! Let's analyze the goals of the task force: Expanding education and lifelong training opportunities Ok , I guess someone will be paying for my education and random

Iraqi soldier tells it how it is.

Scott over at PatriotRoom found a great page of a Sgt. Welsh from Iraq declaring war on Hollywood and our current administration. His major point is that the portrayal of Iraq is not only that of failure, but also fabricated fantasy. Because he actually served, I am inclined to believe his story a little more than directors trying to shove their idealistic view points down America's throat. Anyway, not much to say, just go over there and check it out . Leave him a good comment or two, the guy deserves it.
