America is heading towards the path of inflation and under Obama's economic plan it may very well be one of the worst inflationary periods ever experienced. The cornerstone of Obama's economic plan rests on the following, from a CNN story : On Monday, President-elect Barack Obama said the measures would be "creating and saving 2.5 million jobs - jobs rebuilding our crumbling roads and bridges, modernizing our schools, and creating the clean energy infrastructure of the twenty-first century." In order to understand why this is far more dangerous than meets the eye, one needs only to look at the root cause of inflation. Despite what you may know or not know about inflation, the primary cause is the increase in monetary supply, or simply put - money. When money is created out of thin air and not matched by a corresponding output (GDP), the value of this money drops. There is only force that can create money, it is our government and it is doing so at a very rapid rate...

I am sure by now all have heard about the terrorist attacks in Mumbai , India's largest city and financial capital. Over 170 people have been reported killed and the Muslim terrorists made it a point to not only go after Western interests, but also the fledgling Jewish population in India. While the majority of the deaths have been local Indians, 5 Jews were killed at a Jewish Center and it is absolutely stunning to see that the radicals will stop at nothing. India and Pakistan are no strangers to conflict and the Kashmir region has been a great source of discontent, but I am pretty sure this is the first time that Jews have been targeted in India by Muslim radicals . While some will no doubtingly point to US and Israeli foreign policy as somehow responsible for these tragedies, the explanation falls short in understanding how 170 people lost their lives. In this increasing politically correct world where everyone is offended over everything, I want to wish everyone a happy Thanksgiving. There are many reasons to give thanks, one of which is to this country of liberty, opportunity and freedom. The trailblazers that came from Europe formed a bastion of freedom here and we should all be thankful to the opportunity given to so many generations before us. My mother asked me ever so innocently, how did Joe Biden know about 9/11 and was unable to stop it? Apparently one of her clients informed her of some speech that Mr. Biden gave the day before 9/11. My mother is certainly not a naive woman, but the quote "the attack will come in the belly of the place" certainly sounds convincing. Why do I bring this topic up? As you know Joe Biden predicted that we will have an international crisis within 6 months of an Obama presidency. Senator Biden is no slouch, a member of the Foreign Relations Committee he is briefed to information that is of the highest secrecy. But what does this mean to us? The market has bounced strongly and did not visit Dow 7,000 - yet. This may still be a head fake, but it appears for now that the sector rotation is positive. Oil and other commodities will continue their spiral as global recession worries deepen, but another interesting development is underway. This one is rather troublesome too. This state is experiencing what appears to be an epidemic of corruption. I am sure some of the older folks can probably come up with examples from the late 1970s when MA was deeply mired in scandal and corruption, but in the past 18 years or so things have gotten real bad here. Jim Marzilli - State senator who was sexually harassing women and apparently resisted arrest on the grounds that he was a state senator. Power hungry much?
