Another one bites the dust...

What's that? Another campaign promise down for the count? Obama scraps taxes on oil companies. I am not going to sit here and celebrate how prudent he is acting in the face of a crisis, after all he still wants to magically create jobs out of thin air - but I am going to humbly say, DUH!?

Did you really think singling out companies and punishing them for profits especially considering that all 401k mutual funds own big oil in their portfolion was a good idea? Did you? You probably also thought that John McCain was planning to give tax breaks only to oil companies too, right? KABLAM. Reality check.

If anyone can find reactions from loony lefties on this piece of news, I would love to see them - send them my way. My guess is that they are tightly clutching their Che t-shirt and praying furiously to Marx such that he shows big O the WAY. T-t-t-t-there is still hoooooooope. *sniff*

By the way, the oil company tax now joins the the growing pile of other broken promises.

RIP: Repeal Bush Tax Cut
RIP: Windfall Profit tax on Oil
RIP: Iraq withdrawl.
On it's way to the grave: Change.
