Best advice for Republicans on ObamaCare
Some free advice from a bystander. Grab Olympia Snowe and shove her in a closet until the dust settles, give her a copy of Economics for Dummies so she can amuse herself. Democrats are now bitterly divided on how to shaft America in the worst possible way. On one side we have the very-left who believe with every fibre of their Marxist being that a public option will introduce competition and the left who believe that taxing premium health insurers will provide a steady flow of income. Republicans who have been ignored and marginalized by the Democrats will not have their opinions heard anyway as their suggestions involve personal independence and real competition - and who the hell wants that?
Let the super liberal moveon.org/ACORN coalition push for their public option because Americans already figured out that we tried this once before, it's called Medicare and it's broken beyond repair. Then let the other liberal Democrats soak the rich until they drown and impose more regulation, because Americans will eventually realize government intrusion has already compromised our health insurance business. For those that have not yet, news flash: If you think for a moment that federal tax subsidies to employers, Medicare, Medicaid, FDA and Organ transplant restrictions are not the primary reason for out of control costs - think again! America's health industry is more regulation than our financial industry and look where all that regulation got us.
Republican have a golden opportunity to sit idly by and watch the Democrat party tear itself to pieces, let them fight it out, just remind them to watch their fingers.
