Obama's FCC Diversity Czar - A history of radicalism.
Let us quickly look at a man by the name of Mark Lloyd and his official position of Associate General Counsel and Chief Diversity Officer (not a czar technically) a a man who was once employed by George Soros' Center for American Progress (CAP). Beyond the jumble of fancy sounding names, keep in mind that CAP is an extreme left leaning think tank with George Soros' as a major benefactor. If George Soros is willing to put up his hard earned cash to support this body, good chance it qualifies for his radical agenda.
Views on talk radio: Mark Lloyd's rise to fame and inevitable appointment within the Obama administration is his stance on "equalizing" talk radio. He wrote a piece while employed at CAP, proposing a plan to impose harsh fees on successful talk radio stations and divert that funding to the likes of NPR. Come again? Is this just not blatant distribution from successful private stations, to much less successful stations? The thought of wrestling private property (in the form of profits) for the sole purpose of balancing unsuccessful stations is repugnant. Mark Lloyd may have an "intellectual" background and speaks rather eloquently, but how much education does it require to understand that if there was a market for liberal or progressive talk radio - then there would be liberal talk radio stations! Air America was a fantastic example of moneys pulled together to challenge the presence of conservative radio, stacked with some liberal heavyweights (Franken, Springer, Montel, Garafalo). End result? In 2004 programming began, by 2006, Air America Radio (the official company) filed for Chapter 11 bankruptcy. One does not require a Yale degree to determine where there is no market, there is no product. Note: The station now exists under the new company Air America Media.
Lloyd outlined and proposed the following:
Admiration of Chavez: Glenn Beck has talked about this quite a bit and uncovered video(video here) of Mark Lloyd speaking at the National Conference for Media where Lloyd said the following:
Whiskey-tango-foxtrot!? So basically, Chavez was trying to launch this wonderful revolution to help the poor people of Venezuela, but the pesky private owners of radio stations and the goons here in America failed to appreciate the merits of Communist takeover? So Mark Lloyd truly appreciates how much power the free press has in a democracy and how one needs to curtail these freedoms to achieve benevolent goals set forth by Socialists. Mark Lloyd has written material to propose artificial balance of radio waves and his admiration for Chavez leads reasonable people to assume that Lloyd is a proponent of state controlled radio.
I would like to remind you that free press is the cornerstone of this country and the framers said it best:
How does Obama know Mark Lloyd? Would a man who has written and said the previously discussed ever have passed the confirmation hearings? Worse yet, Obama is using these people to drive his true liberal agenda while appearing moderate to a majority (albeit dwindling) of Americans. This appears to me a plan set in motion long ago, successfully brushing aside his own radical past, he is now using people who subscribe to his ideology to push this country in the direction of a Statist utopia while the population sleeps.
Well....wake the hell up people, before it's too late.

Lloyd outlined and proposed the following:
- Restore local and national caps on the ownership of commercial radio stations.
- Ensure greater local accountability over radio licensing.
- Require commercial owners who fail to abide by enforceable public interest obligations to pay a fee to support public broadcasting.
Admiration of Chavez: Glenn Beck has talked about this quite a bit and uncovered video(video here) of Mark Lloyd speaking at the National Conference for Media where Lloyd said the following:
"...In Venezuela, with Chavez, really an incredible revolution- a dramatic
revolution - to begin to put in place saying that we're going to have impact on
people of Venezuela...the property owners and the folks who were then
controlling the media in Venezuela rebelled - work frankly with folks here in
U.S. government to oust him...and had another revolution. Chavez then
started to take the media very seriously in that country. "

"The basis of our governments being the opinion of the people, the very first
object should be to keep that right; and were it left to me to decide whether we
should have a government without newspapers or newspapers without a government,
I should not hesitate a moment to prefer the latter. But I should mean that
every man should receive those papers and be capable of reading them." --Thomas
Jefferson
