Joe Kennedy discusses Scott Brown's "people's seat" on Cavuto.

Below is a video of a very comfortable Joe Kennedy chatting it up with Neil Cavuto.  We should applaud for Fox News and Cavuto in providing an outlet for someone like Joe to speak his mind  while exposing Joe's positions and character.  Considering that our local "conservative" talk radio station WTKK has become Scott Brown's personal podium, this seems only fair.  In general, third party candidates will always be shunned and kicked to the side because the media has recognized a fact that escapes a lot of Americans.  A fact that is paramount to understand if we are to ever escape the shackles of two parties engaged in the most elaborate kabuki dance known to man.  The dance of course attempts to paint the Republicans as the conservative opposition party to the big government spending Democrats.  Hogwash.  Republicans only pretend to be conservatives when they are the minority party, give them a chance to spend and they will put the Democrats to shame!  The media loves that both parties are interested in supporting big government and a third party candidate will always be neglected.

To further the Kabuki dance, Scott Brown impressed every Conservative after slamming Coakley with a "with all due respect Martha, this is the people's seat".  How the people cheered!  One would think he proposed making Social Security voluntary or returning health care to private hands!  Nope, he just repeated something he has said since the first debate - well before out of state Republicans were paying attention.  We were and there is nothing to be impressed about. Why?  Because Brown does not represent the people!  Massachusetts had it's shares of Tea Party protests, a movement that is truly for the people and by the people - guess which candidate running for the Senate showed up?   Coakley did!  No, just kidding, but that would have confused everyone half to death.  It was actually Joe Kennedy and in fact Scott Brown was given the opportunity to show up and he instead sent a staffer for 5 minutes.  (Update:  Scott Brown did not send a staffer, according to Corie Whalen from whom I got this information, the staffer showed up voluntarily). Maybe he was ashamed at showing his face after publicly speaking out against Ending the Income Tax in 2008?  Maybe he was too busy working on his catch phrases?  Maybe he was coming up with reasons to defend RomneyCare?  Possibilities are endless!

Either way you look at it, the only candidate that represents the people is Joe Kennedy.  We are tired of the government wrecking our economy, we are tired of the insane spending, TARP, the crushing debt and the ongoing war in Afghanistan.  Brown has no problem with any of those, although he thinks a JFK style tax cut on top of a 12 trillion dollar debt is a great idea.  I know you Reagan worshippers really dig that proposal, but this is not the 1980s and Art Laffer has already been humiliated once - no spending cuts? NO tax cuts.

Brown is right, it is the people's seat just like every seat in the Senate and it is time we the people take it back.  You can start with Joe Kennedy.
