Obama never lied about missile shield.

Poles are upset, conservatives are fuming and America is bewildered at the back stabbing of our European allies. Insofar as abandoning an agreement set forth by the previous administration, yes, weak move. However, in borrowing Dear Leader's favorite line "Let's be clear..." Obama never committed to the missile shield and America got exactly what it voted for. From this article published November 9 th , 2008: A Bush administration plan for setting up a missile shield in Poland has been a sore point with the Kremlin and has served as another dent in Russia's battered relationship with the U.S. Obama foreign policy adviser Denis McDonough said yesterday that Obama had "a good conversation" with Kaczynski about the American-Polish alliance but that Obama had made no commitment on the missile shield plan. "His position is as it was throughout the campaign: that he supports deploying a missile defense system when the technology is proved to be workable...

Best advice for Republicans on ObamaCare

Image
Some free advice from a bystander. Grab Olympia Snowe and shove her in a closet until the dust settles, give her a copy of Economics for Dummies so she can amuse herself. Democrats are now bitterly divided on how to shaft America in the worst possible way. On one side we have the very-left who believe with every fibre of their Marxist being that a public option will introduce competition and the left who believe that taxing premium health insurers will provide a steady flow of income. Republicans who have been ignored and marginalized by the Democrats will not have their opinions heard anyway as their suggestions involve personal independence and real competition - and who the hell wants that? Let the super liberal moveon.org/ACORN coalition push for their public option because Americans already figured out that we tried this once before, it's called Medicare and it's broken beyond repair. Then let the other liberal Democrats soak the rich until they drown and impose more re...

Missile shield cuts, European welfare state in danger?

Image
In the wake of Obama’s controversial missile shield decision, it is important to consider the big picture. America spends a lot of money on military expenditures and both the Right and the Left feel strongly about this figure. As of 2008, America is spending a quarter of it’s expenditures on Defense and about 9% on welfare (this number is important) out of roughly 2.5 Trillion. Missile defense is the single most expensive DoD project costing over 8 billion dollars annually, twice as much as the F-22 Raptor procurement. ( Source : Page 5) with a significant portion of the costs going overseas. It remains unclear how much of that figure is spent on our allies, but that portion needs to be cut. Moving on to Europe. In a report on social welfare comparison , citing the OECD as evidence we can see that the major European countries spend considerably more on welfare than we do. Bloated public spending is often seen as a key fault of the "European Social" model. Britain’s social we...

Obama scraps missile shield, right move?

Image
“Speak softly and carry a big stick." Except when dealing with the Russians . My veins pump with Russian blood and today was an inferior foreign policy strategist bending under the might of the Russian hammer. There are two very distinct approaches to today's move and both have to be considered. If you think scrapping Bush's missile shield was anything other than a gift to the Russians, think again. This is a country whose population and leadership crave power and control, always have and always will. With their economy reeling and their influence marginalized they will do anything in their power to exert influence over the inferior European countries. Just like they plowed into Georgia for the sake of expansion, they will do the same in every other region under the pretext of unification. Of course after they have wrongly implanted their brethren in every corner of Europe, this pretext becomes hard to swallow. We must never forget that the Russian people in large part c...

Fifth ACORN Video; Immigrant smuggling!

In the latest and what appears to be the last installment, James and Hanna travel to San Diego where an ACORN representative gives them advice on how to smuggle the young El Salvadorian girls through Tijuana. Why? Well because he has contacts there and while he may be talking up a storm one would think the guy has previous experience in smuggling immigrants from Mexico. ACORN might very well have a vested interest in establishing a smuggling network because they seem to do anything and everything that solidifies their member rank. The video itself is more intriguing and interesting than the previous montage of crazy 'ol Tresa and even has a tense moment when Mr. Acorn inquires about the pricing scheme of Hanna. Can you say AWKWARD!? Both parts of the video below: I encourage you to explore BigGovernment the official website of the Acorn bust, the latest information regarding investigations/probes are all listed there.

New name, new home! Update your links and feeds.

New website: http://www.rightcondition.com/ Hello readers! In case you have not noticed, I have moved and changed identities. Indy Mind is now Right Condition, RIP Indy Mind. The new name is more serious and is a clever double entendre :) Also, sporting a new look which I think is slicker and leaner. The right side menu now is easier to read and does not sprawl all over the place and invade everything - kind of like the federal government. The three buttons show/hide relevant sections. There comment provider service is cleaner and more compact. You must register, but it will provide for lively debate which I encourage the use of. After all, a blog without comments is not much of a blog. You will also find, unfortunately, that previous comments have been lost in transition. Considering how much better the new service is, I think it's worth it! Sharing each post should also be easier than ever due to the AddThis button add the bottom of each post. Only took me 1 hour to properly ali...

ACORN Fourth video, part two.

On today's episode, Hanna explores the virtues of entrepreneurship and self reliance with her new found friend Tresa! Tresa gives Hanna some much needed relationship advice, advice sure to be useful in life's challenging ordeals. In terms of the ACORN saga, the excitement is starting to wear off. Not only has Tresa firmly proven to be unhinged, but her stories of murder and violence appear to be largely exaggerated . Personally, the first three videos were far more incriminating than the ramblings of Tresa Kaelke . Here is the second part, but it's hard to hear and rather unexciting.
